Speech Broadside

This project explores how typography can enhance the meaning and emotional impact of a powerful speech. Focusing on America Ferrera’s monologue from Barbie, the design translates themes of identity, societal pressure, and empowerment into a visual experience. The keyword sisterhood is used as a central element, emphasizing unity, shared experiences, and collective strength.

Through expressive typography and supporting imagery, the design captures the emotional intensity and relatability of the speech, allowing viewers to engage with its message beyond the written word. The project includes both print and digital outcomes, demonstrating how typographic design can evoke emotion, provoke thought, and foster connection.
